This month, thousands of museum visitors will trade traditional treats for something a bit unusual— arthropods! That’s the group of animals that includes insects and spiders. On September 21, the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences will serve crickets, beetles, and more as part of an event called BugFest. Experts will choose critters that are safe to chomp on.
